Course Description
Our 45 week long term Spanish Intensive Course is a great option if you want to learn Spanish and live in Barcelona for a longer period of time. If you are not from the European Union you will be able to obtain a type D – «Open» student visa for the duration of your studies. This student visa can be extended for longer periods as needed as long as you continue stuying. Once you are in Barcelona we will give you advice and assistance in obtaining the N.I.E (Identification Number for foreigners residents in Spain)
You’ll study 20 lessons of Spanish. You’ll also have the option to take the official DELE examinations and gain internationally recognized qualifications approved by the Instituto Cervantes.
Our 45 week long term spanish course start every Monday if you are not an absolute beginner or every 2 weeks otherwise. This course take place throughout the year (subject to availability).

- 20 Classes/week - 1 level: minimum 9 weeks
- 4 lessons daily, Monday to Friday.

-2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Monday to Friday
- Levels:

3-9 students per class (exceptionally, there could be 10).
- Documents for Visa:
We prepare the documents for the Spanish embassy (or consulate) that you will need to obtain a long-term student visa for Spain.
Important: The Spanish Embassy requires that students who need visa documents have paid in full for the course before the school sends them the documents.

1. Complete the registration form and send it to us. If you are not an absolute beginner, then we will need you to take our online placement test, which is free. Right after completing the registration form, you will be asked to make an advance payment of €150 which you can pay by credit/debit card online or by bank transfer. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of the course. * * *
2. Once we have received the booking form and booking payment, we will send you a course confirmation. Please note that your reservation is temporary until we have received the advance payment of €150.
3. Approximately one week before the start of the course, you will receive a confirmation with the exact class schedule.
* The remaining amount must be paid on the first day at school.

Dynamics of Spanish classes
Small study groups are decisive when learning a language. This is why the number of students per class at Olé is limited to nine and the average class size ranges between 5 and 6 students. The idea is that teachers can answer questions individually and each student can practice more the vocabulary and knowledge acquired. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming so you can feel comfortable practicing Spanish.

Spanish Course Study Plan
Based on a communicative and immersion approach, students learn Spanish in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) which includes writing, listening comprehension, vocabulary and conversation practice. From the beginning to the end of each lesson, the only language spoken in classes is Spanish, so students quickly learn to communicate effectively in everyday, real-life situations. Our classrooms are lively and interactive spaces that provide all the ideal elements so you can quickly achieve your Spanish learning goals through a variety of tasks and activities. FAQs - Long Duration Courses
If you study for less than 90 days, you can get a type C visa. More than 90 days, but less than 26 weeks, you can get a type D «Closed» visa, which cannot be extended from here. For courses of more than 26 weeks (half a year) you can obtain a type D «Open» visa that can be extended from Spain.
