Course Description
Our 50-week intensive Spanish course is an excellent option if you want to learn Spanish and live in Barcelona for a longer period of time. If you do not belong to a member country of the European Union, you can obtain a student visa type D – “Open” for the duration of your studies. This student visa can be extended for longer periods as needed, as long as you continue with your studies. Once you are in Barcelona, we will give you advice and assistance to obtain the N.I.E. (Identification Number for Foreigners Resident in Spain).
You will have 20 Spanish classes per week. You will also be able to take the official DELE exams and obtain internationally recognized diplomas approved by the Instituto Cervantes.
Our 50-week Spanish course starts every Monday, if you are not an absolute beginner or, otherwise, every 2 weeks. This course takes place throughout the year (subject to availability).

- 4 lessons per day, Monday to Friday.

- Students per group:
3-9 students per class (exceptionally, there could be 10).
- Visa Documents:
We prepare the documents for the Spanish embassy (or consulate) that you will need to obtain the long term student visa for Spain.
Important: The Spanish Embassy requires that students who need documents for the visa must have paid in full for the course before the school will send them the documents.

Complete the registration form and send it to us. If you are not an absolute beginner, then we will need you to take our free online placement test. Right after completing the registration form, you will be asked to make an advance payment of 150 € which you can pay by credit/debit card online or by bank transfer. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of the course.
2. Once we have received the booking form and payment, we will send you a confirmation of the course. Please note that your reservation is temporary until we have received the advance payment of € 150.
3. Approximately one week before the start of the course, you will receive a confirmation with the exact timetable of the classes.

Dynamics of Spanish classes
Small class sizes are decisive when learning a language. This is why the number of students per class at Olé is limited to nine and the average class size is between 5 and 6 students. The idea is that the teachers can answer questions individually and each student can further practice the vocabulary and knowledge acquired. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly so that you can feel comfortable practicing Spanish.

Spanish Course Study Plan
Based on a communicative and immersion approach, students learn Spanish according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) including writing practice, listening comprehension, vocabulary and conversation. From the beginning to the end of each lesson, the only language spoken in class is Spanish, so students quickly learn to communicate effectively in real-life, everyday situations. Our classrooms are lively, interactive spaces that provide all the ideal elements for you to quickly reach your Spanish learning goals through a variety of tasks and activities. FAQs - Long Duration Course
If you study for less than 90 days, you can get a type C visa. More than 90 days, but less than 26 weeks, you can get a type D “Closed” visa, which cannot be extended from here. For courses of more than 26 weeks (half a year) you can obtain a type D “Open” visa that can be extended from Spain.
